To Be A Bird

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a bird? The freedom to fly where you want whenever you want...to be free of the earth's gravity. I wish I had the freedom to fly whenever I wanted to....(lol, I guess I could if I had the money for plane tickets) but I'm sure y'all know what I mean. Do you think birds ever wonder what it's like to be human? Nahhhhhh, me either!!!!!

Our Protector

With majestic wings spread,

you soar through the sky.

Ever watching, ever keeping,

From morning through nigh.

To watch and protect,

a selfless act that you do.

Our Country, our great Eagle,

We're indebted to you.

God hold still the breeze under your wings,

and keep you in His care.

For with you on this day,

goes all of our prayers.

There, with that done, I hope everyone can take a moment now and then and say a prayer for the soldiers that aren't home with their loved ones because they're fighting for the freedom others and for justice. God Speed.

It's been a meloncholy kind of day...wishing wishes, hoping hopes, and dreaming dreams. I long for warm nights. I wish I were brave enough to go for walks at night, but I'm afraid that I'm a little too whimpy for that, lol. I guess it's that little bunny that could be stalking me around the corner ;) (Hey, they can be scary with those twitchy little noses ya know!!)

I'm hungry, and as luck would have it, Emily decided upon herself to cook supper tonight :) so, on that little bit of info, I'm gonna stop here and go "try" to eat something.
