¿Cómo se dice blog en Español?

I think that Spanish is gonna be my favorite class, the same as Sign Language was my favorite the last 2 semesters. There's just something about learning a new language that's exciting to me. I would love to take Russian and/or German. For now, I'll enjoy my Spanish class.
Speaking of Spanish...the first day of class we had to fill out a survey first thing. Once we completed our survey we took a "field trip" as Mr. Mee called it, to the Spanish II class room. We then had to take a TEST!! Yes, a test...it wasn't so bad though. While we were taking the test we were told that if our name was on the board, when we finished with our test we should go back over to the other classroom for an oral test. Yup, my name was on the board along with several others. There were 10 questions she asked us on the oral part of the test, I flew through the first 7 but didn't really understand the last 3. She said that I did very well considering it has been 21 years since I had taken a Spanish class, I actually did better than most of the people that had just taken Spanish 6 months ago. (her words) I went back and talked to Mr. Mee about the written part of the test, he had just finished correcting them, he said that out of 37 people that I scored the 7th highest!! Well, Wednesday when I went to class I noticed that my name was on the board along with 3 others. When Mr. Mee got into the class he took the 4 of us out into the hall and told us that we all scored high enough on the tests to be placed into Spanish II and we were to go and sit in that class for the day and see what we thought and if we wanted to switch over. I loved being in there and could understand quite a bit of what she said, but I had problems with conjugating the verbs with the correct endings, it was fun though. One girl, Anna, decided right away that she was going to stay back in Spanish I, Andrea and Stephanie decided to move up to Spanish II, and I was undecided. I asked Maria (Spanish II teacher) what she thought by what she observed from me in class. She thought I did really well, but also thought that I would have problems figuring out the verb endings. After a lot of pondering, I decided to stay back in Spanish I, I think it's the best choice to make so that I can get refreshed with all the verbs and alphabet and vocab. Not to mention that it'll be better for my GPA. I'm sure I'll still have to work at it, but I think I may have struggled in 2.
On to Child Psych...another class which I think I will enjoy VERY much. Dr. Dave, as we were told to address him by, is a very funny guy, he's not as old as some of the teachers I've had so far, but we'll see if that matters any, which I doubt. I'm really excited because I've already chosen the topic for my final project in there which isn't due until the day after Thanksgiving break. I think I may change my major to Psychology, I'm not quite sure yet. I do know that next semester I'm going to take Abnormal Psych.
Math is math...BLECH!! Right now it's mostly review and I haven't had too much trouble except when we got into subtracting integers, but then I had some help from a friend and it came back to me, whew!! The teacher in there is very laid back and I think she'll be really helpful.
Nutrition class is a LOT more than I had bargained for!!! I went into it thinking it would be some sort of simple health class, but ohhhhh noooooooo, it's the class that you take when you're learing to be a personal trainer!! I think I'm really going to enjoy it though, I like the idea of knowing exactly what I'm eating, how much of it I should and shouldn't be eating, and when to eat it. It'll be nice too for Alex, because he's on this big health kick and wanting to eat the right way to be able to bulk up. I really don't want him to follow in his brother's footsteps thinking that he needs to be drinking those nasty protein drinks when all he has to do is eat right.
That about sums up my day at school. I get about ½ hr between Spanish and Child Psych, but after Child Psych, I have only 5 minutes to run down a flight of stairs, down 2 ½ halls, and UP another flight of stairs. Dr. Dave has made it clear to us that he will NOT let us out early either, we're paying for that time and we're gonna get it! True to his word, we didn't get out until 1:55 both days we've been there so far. After math class though, I get a 2 hour break before Nutrition. I wish I were parked a lot closer to the building because I would probably go out and take a nap for an hour. I don't know if that would be a good thing or a bad thing, but I'm sure it would feel great while I was sleeping!!!
Alex has proved my point yet again about throwing pillows at running siblings. DON'T DO IT, SOMEONE WILL GET HURT!!! He thought it would be funny to throw one at D, which then caused D to fall and hit his cheek really hard on the quilt rack. Now D gets to start school with a big bruise on his face. Sometimes you just wish that you could just knock the stuffing out of them!!
I really do need to get myself an MP3 player soon!! I took a walk last night and wished that I had something to listen to, other than the deer snorting at me and the turkey running through the woods to get away from me. I think there was a snake that slithered away into the tall grass, I didn't see it, but I heard it and saw the grass moving. I guess I better pray that Patty calls me into work at the school this year. I talked to her at Alex's game and she said that she probably would since I didn't have to worry about D this year since he's in school all day. That would be cool to have a part time job and be able to get some things that I want without having to ask. I was asked if I wanted a part-time job at the bank, but couldn't because one of the days was on Mondays, and I'm in school on that day!
I didn't realize how long my post is till I started looking back over it, I guess I better quit for now, it's probably taken you too long to read this far already!

Y'all be safe and let someone know you're thinking of them today.
Love Ya :)
