Endings and Beginnings...
Ahhhhhh, tonight marks the ending of a VERY long weekend!! By the way, Happy 4th of July to everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful time celebrating our Country and what it means to live in its freedom.
Our bon-fire was very nice, or at least I thought it was :) I was happy that Ross and Sarah stopped in to visit for a while before they had to go to Ross's aunt's house for their family party. I think it's sad though that they missed out on the s'mores, lol. (I saved you some) It was very interesting when everyone decided to start hitting golf balls into the walleye pond, but more interesting when Aaron and Joel decided to go out there and try to catch the golf balls with baseball mits!!!! Can we say....IDIOTS?!?!?! Do they NOT know what can happen when you get a golf ball sliced into your forehead?????? lol. Well, they didn't get hit and actually, they almost caught a few balls!! Ok, Ok, I'm a little big guilty too, I hit a few balls out there too, but at least I used a baseball bat!! :D (hit them pretty good too! well, except for the one that popped up and landed in the smaller pond) Ahhhhhhhhh, good fun there.
Sometimes when I sit here, I wish I could just let my fingers go and type something that sounds so profound that I would even astonish myself....but, considering that it's just about midnight, I seriously doubt that anything will be that wonderful! So I guess it'll just have to be the same ole' dribble that's been written every other time, lol.
I haven't mentioned this yet....I CAN'T WAIT FOR CEDAR POINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, the one way I can get anything that comes close to flying!!!!!!!!! WOO HOOOO, Top Thrill Dragster, here I come! OK, now, I think I need to figure out how to work my CD/DVD player so that I can record Phantom of the Opera from DVD onto a VHS tape so that we can watch it on the way there, I mean, it is a longggggggg ride on the bus!! lol. Can't forget blanket and pillow either....oh yes, and another mental note....remember to NOT sit in the seat again that doesn't recline!!!!!!!!! I can't wait now especially since Jen is going again too! We're gonna tear that park apart! Oh yeah, got my yellow shirt today too (and my Sharpie).
Ok, well, it's time for me to get to bed and "try" to get some sleep....New week starting, new beginnings....and only ONE more softball game, woo hooo! Then starts the season of Summer Jazz Band concerts. Enjoyable :)
