Snow and Hot Chocolate
Oh how I miss the days of childhood when you could play in the new fallen snow all day and then come in for some WONDERFUL hot chocolate with whipped cream (or mini marshmallows if you prefer). It's already snowed about an inch, but I'm afraid it's all in vain. By friday, we're supposed to have temps in the high 40's, those temps aren't very condusive to snow. *sigh* This winter, I fear, has truely left us. My plan is to get at least one snowman out of this winter, and I think today is the day!!!!!! I think he's going to be a smiley snowman too, hehehehehe, it's going to look like something p'd all over it, however, it will just be food coloring!! Yes, I'm going to color my snowman.....how can you have a smiley snowman if it's not yellow?????? Maybe I'll take a pic and post it too...
Did I mention that Christen has glasses now? Yes, she has joined the ever growing league of people in our family that has glasses. Her eyes are actually worse than mine!! She's going through quite a change right now, she lost her two front teeth within a week of each other. This really isn't a big deal since it does happen to everybody, however, she's 9 and this usually happens to the average 7 yr old. She missed being able to sing "All I Want For Christmas is My 2 Front Teeth" by just a few days!!
School starts back on Monday. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this semester. I've really enjoyed just hanging around the house and baking. I've certainly made my fair share of cinnamon rolls the past few days....they're rather yummy too, if I do say so myself. I also baked a Blueberry Cheesecake. Oh My!! It was SINFUL! But, I suppose that I'm only going on Mondays and Wednesdays again so I do have time to keep baking on my off days, well, that's if I'm not dying trying to do my math. Yes, here I go again about the math. I'm sure y'all know that I'm hopeless at that subject. Or at least I've talked myself into being hopeless. My backpack weighs a ton right now and I don't even have my spanish books back in there yet! My math and government books are terribly heavy and I have 2 books for english and 2 for spanish. I still have to get my folders in there and notebooks. I'm glad that thing has wheels!! It's kinda funny, I've already broken my New Year's Resolution right here in my blog....I resolved to not let math get me down, but alas....I've failed. Ok, I'll start again right now.......Math ROCKS!
It's 12:18 pm and Alex JUST got up.....I'm sure he's been awake in there for a while, how could you not be when there's so much other noise going on in the house???? I shoulda brought in a couple of the kittens and let them loose in his room, he sure would have gotten up then!
Oh my gosh!! I watched a show on CMT last night, perhaps some of you have seen "Cowboy U"?? This is the WORST group of people that I have EVER seen in that group, they couldn't even get a horse to walk. One chick let her horse keep going to the corner and then couldn't get it to move or back up. The poor horse OBVIOUSLY didn't like how hard she was pulling back on the bit. One of the other girls didn't even want to get dirty when they had to catch a greased pig....they saw them p'ing and it really just grossed them out......whimps!!!!! After Survivor, I would love to give Cowboy U a try. I'm sure I would die, but dang, it would be so worth it!!!! I wonder if that show has a resident chiropractor? Yup, just to ride the horses would make it all worth while!!!!!!!!!
I've just read over this post....wow....a bunch of nothing. I supposed it doesn't matter though, this is, after all, just a sort of therapy anyhow....right?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, still snowing........I think the time has come to construct a smiley snowman :)
Y'all try something new today, perhaps updating blogs!
Love Ya :)
