Free Tshirt offer...woo hooo
Ok, I know I don't really need to be eating a lot candy bars....but...it's for a good cause!! I mean, it's a FREE Tshirt, not just a free Tshirt, but a free Hershey's, KitKat, Reese's, York or Almond Joy Tshirt! And did you know, the more candy bar wrappers you save, the more Tshirts you can get!!!! I need 15 Hershey brand candy bars for one shirt....that's only 3 candy bars per kid :) or if I get 55 wrappers I can get ALL 5 shirts....hmmmmm....I think it's do-able!
Well, as far as school goes, it's going pretty well. I'm not quite sure what to make of my Spanish teacher, he's, ummmmm, well....he's ahhhhhhhhhhh, hmmmmmm, well, let's just say he's definately not like my high school Spanish teacher and she was AWESOME! Child psych is in the boring stage right now...a lot of what he's talking about is a repeat of what I learned last year in General Psych. Right now we're talking about Freud's theory of child development, and how he thought a lot of "who" you are now is based on a sexually grounded theory....it's quite fun watching Dr. Dave try to spit out some of Freud's theories and the whole time he keeps repeating how, "These are Freud's ideas, not mine, just to remind you" hehehe, as if we really thought they were his since it's in the book!! All in all, he's pretty cool. I just wish he weren't so anal about letting us out at EXACTLY 1:55....he just tells us that he wants to be sure we get our moneys worth. I told him that a few dollars wouldn't kill me and he could let us out a few minutes early, he just chuckled. ALGEBRA SUCKS!!! I mean, seriously folks, math is stupid. I know, I know, without math where would the world as we know it be today!?!? I just don't see how me knowing how to solve some stupid equation is gonna make the world a better place. I've lived without it for so long, what's another 20 years? I really am enjoying my nutrition class. My teacher, Peggy, is great. She's not really boring and seeing how fit she is really makes me want to pay attention so that I can try to get myself on a better track of nutrition. Maybe I can work nutrition into my future "job" somehow. Some year anyhow, I have to finish math first....*sigh*
There's a stupid little bug that insists on landing on my screen. If I squish it, then I'll have to clean my monitor, if I blow it off of the screen, it just comes back...I guess I'll just try to ambush it and kill it before it actually lands...yup, that's the plan!
There's so many people from here that are going to Delta, but, I have yet to see them. I haven't seen Joel, Alecia, DJ, or Gregory yet. There's someone else, but I can't seem to remember who it is.
I'm glad it will be cooling down soon again. Yesterday at school, they had the air kicked up so high that everyone was freezing in the classrooms, especially down in the basement classes, where my nutrition class is for instance! I was prepared yesterday though, I took a long sleeved shirt with me, woo hoo, had to take it off once class was over with though because it was really hot outside still! I think fall is supposed to start to kick in with highs in the mid 60's, I can't say that I don't like that!!!
OHHHHHHHHHHHH, guess what Sarah!!! Goldie had 3 kittens!! She had them up by the porch :) Ben's a bit bummed because they all look like her, he says he's getting sick of orange cats, hehehe....I'm sure they'll be fine though...I just have to keep D away from them!!!!!!! For those of you that might not know....D stands for Demon....oops, I mean Dominic, my bad....he has this little thing in his brain that blocks it out when you tell him to stay away from the kittens...ok...what little child doesn't have that blockage?
I guess I better get going, I still have some Algebra to finish up and I have to try to figure out how to do it. I pray that you're all healthy and safe.
Y'all eat a Hershey bar for me now and save me the wrapper ;)
Love Ya :)
