Ready for Thrills!

WOO HOOOOOO!!!! I just got finished ordering the tickets for Cedar Point!! OMG, I can't wait until tomorrow!!!!!! I still think that Top Thrill Dragster should be the first ride of the day but others, however, think that Mantis should be the first....I think I may follow my first instinct and go for the thrill! If you've never gone to Cedar Point, boy are you missing out. Even if you don't like riding the rides (what's the point in going then) there are still plenty of things to do, a lot of shows to watch and there's even the water park. Thunder Canyon isn't even a really bad ride for the faint of heart, lol.

Yesterday evening was quite interesting. At about 6 pm. our electricity went out. At least it was fairly cool out and we didn't have to bake. Of course, considering that our air conditioner broke a few days ago, the fans have been our only respite since, so I guess it doesn't matter that the electricity went out. The kids were bummed because that meant NO TV! I, however, didn't mind because I've been reading the 6th Harry Potter book and didn't need any electricity to that :) The book is getting to a very good part now too, Harry has been talking to.....oh wait...I guess I shouldn't say anything because that could bring on the wrath of the eldest child_unit. Ok, I'll just leave it at "it's getting REALLY good!" I wish I could write like J.K Rowling....I'd settle for half that good, lol. This is my second book of the summer. My first book was "More Than A Skeleton" by Paur Maier. This is sort of a sequel to his book "A Skeleton in God's Closet" which is definately a great read!!! Both are! I was even lucky enough to meet Paul Maier when I was in Florida, he autographed the 2 books that I bought while down in Florida. (He was the keynote speaker at the convention I went to down there).

I'm getting very excited at the thought of school starting up again. August 29th is the big day! I actually have to start a week before the kids go back to school, lol, I don't think that's a bad thing, do you? Nahhhhhhhhhh..... I can't wait to start up in my Spanish and Child Psych classes. I'm still trying to decide if I should contact my Spanish teacher and tell him that I had 2 years of Spanish in High School. I don't really remember a whole lot of it, some, but not enough to get stuck in Spanish II. I do believe that he gives a placement test the first or second day anyhow. I think I'll just hush about my previous classes....but do remember, lol, that was 20 years ago!!

Ebay is EVIL! It lures you in there with so many wonderful things. Then they offer you "paypal" to make it so easy to bid....THEN they allow all these people to put their "stuff" up for auction....EVIL I tell ya....GOTTA LOVE IT :) I just wish they didn't have so many walmart smiley pins, lol, I already won 4 and now I bid on another 6. I actually prefer the "Buy it Now" option, I hate waiting all the days for the auction to end and then to have some LOSER outbid you in the last second, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, they did that on a pin that I really wanted too, that sucked! Oh well, it's the thrill of the hunt and kill I suppose. It sure is gonna be a long 5 days, lol. I MUST have the zorro and the Statue of Liberty pins!!!!!!!!!!!!! Muwahahahahahahahahaha.....

Well hey, I've been boring enough and I didn't even mention my vacation up North....all I can say is HOT! No AIR, and Ducks.

Y'all take care and be safe,
Love ya :)
