WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
WOW, what a day! All I can say is "Cedar Point Rocks!!!" .....Top Thrill Dragster was incredible, I think I left part of my face at the start of the ride, lol, yes, it was that good!!! I'm not quite sure why anyone gets scared riding this ride, lol, I mean really, the ride only lasts 20 seconds, no time for fear there. BUT....I have to say, my new favorite ride is Millennium Force....OMG, it was AWESOME! I am no longer a Millennium Force Virgin, whew, what a ride that was....I wish I could have just kept going and going and going....I think next year, I wanna get right back in line, FIRST ride of the day, 2nd too, lol. I also rode the green Power Tower ride for the first time (for those of you that don't know, the green one drops you down as to where the red one shoots you up). That sure was a rush too. Really, it's not so much the rush, but the anticipation of just hanging up there waiting for the drop. It's so much better than the Demon Drop, which I must say is getting too old and rickety. I wasn't too thrilled with Magnum, it was to jerky. (first time on that one too.) As far as Wicked Twister goes, all I can do is giggle....I loved going backwards, but the screaming that took place on that ride was just too amusing, lol.
Did I mention that it was HOT? Well, it was HOT, HOT, HOT! We did plenty of baking, but, I came out of it with just a little bit of redness on my nose. I firmly believe in sunblock now, I've been burnt 3 times already this summer and it hasn't been pleasant, so, I used plenty of SPF 30 before went into the park. Most of it got washed off with the sweat from the baking, which did allow me to work on my tan, a thing that I haven't had for years. It makes for a 4th different tan line however, it's all good though. The heat did affect one of our group members and I hope he's feeling better today :) Some year, I would love to camp there so that we can go one day, sleep and go again the next day! Anyone up for the challenge? lol.
At the home-front, I still have no airconditioner. That saddens me, but at least it's cool this morning yet. I have some baking to do, but I really am gonna have to put it off until I get my air back or we have a couple of 70 degree days in a row. That doesn't look likely for a while though. Oh well.
I'm tired, I think I will nap today! On that thought, I will end here for the day. Thank you to the group of WONDERFUL people that went to Cedar Point with me yesterday, I'm glad you don't mind going and doing things with an "old" person :) (I love you all!!!!)
Y'all be good and be safe,
Love ya :)
