All is Well

As I sit here and let out a collective sigh, I think about this last week without math. I can't believe just how much calmer I am. I'm really enjoying my other classes much more now too. I got my first English paper back which had a nice, big purple "A" on it! He had a few minor corrections marked on it and we had to correct them in class. I really enjoyed doing that too. Made for a shorter class today because as soon as we were finished making our corrections we got to leave. I hope I do as well on my 2nd homework assignment.

Winter has returned!! And, boy oh boy, did it EVER return! We got about 8 inches of snow overnight friday night, it was beautiful outside saturday morning. The only problem with all of the snow was that Em had her first basketball tournament saturday. I won't even go into that right now!

Dinner was AWESOME tonight!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, the band is leaving for All-Star in Alpena. I'm really excited because as you know, 3 of my child_units are in the All-Star band, we get to stay overnight at a hotel with a pool, I get to go shopping while they're practicing, we get to go to Pizza Hut for dinner friday night AND I get to chaperone! I LOVE to chaperone for the band, they're an awesome bunch of people! I just have to remember to bake my traditional "cookies for the road" for the trip up there. It's pretty much an expected ritual now when I chaperone. As I recall, we were throwing them to another car while we were driving somewhere. I do believe the cookie toss was to Ross.....hmmmmmmm. Fun times :)

A couple of the child_units wants me to bake cinnamon rolls, but I really wanted to make a cheesecake....decisions, decisions....perhaps I'll just make both! Or not, who knows?!

I'm out of ideas, besides, it's almost time for Wife Swap....by the looks of it, the wives duke it out at the meeting, woo hooooooo!!
