Uncertainties

Sundays leave so much room for thinking. Reflections of the week past, considerations of the week to come, and unanswered questions. I honestly don't know if I like these days anymore. I'm finding that I don't like to have idle thoughts anymore. I wish I had some reassurance of things to come in the future, but, life being as it is, I'll just have to take it day by day.....it is after all just "A Daily Thing". *Sigh*

This morning I was greeted by thunder and lightening. I couldn't have asked for a better way to wake up, it's such a wonderful way to wake up. The calming effects of the rain and the low rumble of thunder. Of course, once in a while you have the thrill of the sharp clasp of thunder following the bright streak of lightening. I was asked how I could possibly fall back to sleep this morning with the storm going on. Easy...it's a lullaby to me.

I'm somewhat frustrated right now. "Someone's" girlfriend just called asking if "he" was home. I assumed that he was still sleeping and went out to his room and knocked, she then told me that he may not be home yet. Aparantly, his friend came to pick him up LATE last night and he never said a word to us that he was leaving. NICEEEEEEEEEEE, it would have been nice to know this so that his window could have been shut, but no, it was left WIDE open through the storm I see. Not to mention, the thought that he was supposed to be here and finding out that he's not. Yes, he's an adult, but let's show a little common courtesy. Is this possible????????????????????

Meloncholy-1 a : suggestive or expressive of melancholy b : causing or tending to cause sadness or depression of mind or spirit thought>2 a : depressed in spirits
I guess if I had to pick a word for the day....that would be it.

Y'all take care,
Love ya :)

I was also awoken by the storm, though I didn't receive it as happily as you since it woke me up a half-hour early.
