WalMart Smileys :)
Hi, my name is Lyne and I LOVE Smileys. I seem to be having a slight addiction problem of late. #1-Ebay #2 WalMart Smiley pins. I didn't think that the competition for such little things would be so fierce, but I found my self cussing out some person on ebay that I don't even know because they had the audacity to outbid me!!! Out of 6 pins, I ended up with 3. Not too awful bad, but, the one that I really wanted eluded me. On Thursday I will be more viscous though. There's a smiley pin that I MUST have, ok, I WILL have. I will stoop to all levels to get this pin!!! I pity the person that tries to be on my puter during the final seconds of bidding!!! Ahhhhhhh, I feel a little better now having admitted to my addiction, lol. (hint hint, these pins are a great inexpensive little gift say for mother's day or just because I'm loved ;) )
Emily is behind me hula hooping with my weighted hula hoop, she's been going steady for a whole 8 minutes now. She has this hope to someday break the Guiness Book record of 72 hours. I don't think she's gonna be able to achieve this with my hula hoop, it's a killer!! Don't believe me? Come on over and try it sometime!!
I think very soon I'm gonna start my exercise program. I'm really feeling that it's a good time to do this. I'm at a point where I'm not feeling overweight, but just out of shape. I need to get in condition for school, lol, I have 5 minutes between a couple of my classes and one room is on the other side of the school from the other. I'm gonna have to do some power walking!
Ahhhhhhhhhh, yes, SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!! In one respect I can because when I start school that means other things will be missed, but, at least I'll be able to keep busy and study hard! Sheesh, it won't be hard to keep busy anyhow, I'm sure there's going to be plenty of Football games with Alex and Basketball games with Em...(still wish she would play football again), she's quite happy with her choice to play basketball, especially after doing 2 basketball camps this summer. And yes, I can't forget keeping busy with homework! 13 credit hours of school comes with the same amount of homework. Maybe next year I'll take German so that I can converse with Sarah :)
I got an e-mail today from my peer mentor from my sign language class. They're having a silent dinner on Tuesday, Aug. 2. I'm excited to go, but I know that I better polish up on my sign language, I've forgotten quite a bit of it this summer. For those of you that don't know, a silent dinner is where we go out to a restaurant (usually a place with a buffet) and once you're in there, you're not allowed to talk, you may only converse in Sign Language. It's quite fun and quite a challenge. I had to do it for grades my last 2 semesters, but this time I can just go and enjoy the night without "having" to ask 10 different people questions about themselves. What's really fun is getting to talk to people that come from the Deaf Community. They're always so happy to come to the dinners because of the fact that people are learning their language to be able to talk to them. I guess the sentence that I need to bone up on is,"all summer, practice, not I." Good, I remember all the signs for that one :) I also remember, "excuse me" lol, I'll use that one a lot and just run out for more food to avoid answering a question that I don't understand!!!
It's getting late now and I have a movie to watch, therefore, I think I will end now.
Y'all stay safe and be strong,
Love ya :)
