Let the A's Reign

I am so incredibly happy!! This is a woo hoooo kind of moment so please excuse me for a moment...."WOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, yes, that feels good. The excitement you may ask? Well, let me tell you. I just found out my grade for math today....I GOT AN "A"!! I know, for some people math comes way easy for you and you may think woopty-doo, but let me tell you, math is a horrible, evil thing. Ok, so it's not so evil, but it was horrible! Now I just have to brace myself for next semester, I pray that I can survive!

My total grade count for this semester is as follows; Spanish-A, Child Psychology-A-, Algebra-A, Nutrition-A-. Happy, happy, happy :)

So people, are you ready for Christmas? NO?? Hehehe, me either, I mean really, I still have a few days! Sometimes you can get some great deals just before the big day.

Have I mentioned that I'm a little concerted out? Well, we've had the band concert, which was incredible! Emily was AWESOME in her duet with Katrina, who knew she could play the sax so well.....well, ok, we knew that she could play well ;) The quintet also did a fantastic job! It'll be sad next year when Joel and Ross are gone :( We'll have to get Alex up there playing with them, Jake is already there and I guess Ben will have to find someone to be along side him with the Trombone. Then there was the weekend marathon of the Christmas programs at church. Ben was in the drama section, Emily was in the choir on Saturday and Sunday evening and Christen and D were in the children's program on Sunday evening. Last night was the voice show which was fun :) I'm so impressed with how the guys did, they were great when they sang "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas", they harmonized incredibly well!! Joel....you're incredible! Ross, we'll have to think of another "Night" song for you to sing ;) (In the Still of the Night)?? Jim, a nice country song for the spring show?? Ryan, I'm thinking Nat King Cole for you :) But anyway, back to the concerts....tomorrow night is the Elementary program, (oh joy), makes me wonder which class is going to have the "child that refuses to stand facing forward" Oh well, it's the holiday season!

Speaking of Ben, I guess I have to go and pick him up from work now.

Y'all wrap yourselves silly!
Love Ya :)

2 down, 2 to go!!

Well, I have my A- in Child Psych and today I found out that I have a high A in Spanish, so well an A that I don't have to take my final!! WOO HOOOOOO.....and to top it off, we got last weeks test back, which by the way I thought I did horribly on, and I got the highest grade in the class :) In our class he always gives the person with the highest grade a little prize which has usually been something to do with Mexico or one of his visits to another country, a peso for instance or a little animal carved from wood. Well, he said he was out of pesos and gave me a little M&M candy dispenser thing, it's really cute and I'm sure the M&M's will be wonderful for my next chocolate binge!!!

I am going to cut this short because I have to go and study for my Nutrition final which is in an hour and a half. I'll update again after my final math exam, which is on wednesday.

Y'all be healthy and stay safe,
Love Ya :)

One A-, 3 to go

Two days of school left and I already know one of my final grades. With doing my "bonus" homework assignment, I've brought my child psych grade up to an A-!! I'm very happy with this, so what if there's a minus....it's better than a B-. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to be getting an A of some sorts in Spanish, I doubt I even have to take my final exam but I'm going to anyhow. My oral exam is on monday and is going to take only a few minutes, enjoyable.

On wednesday I got out of math class at 3:30, I then start the process of waiting until 5:30 for my next class (Nutrition). During the waiting time I went to the bookstore and purchased the bulk of my required books for next semester. I swear, these books weigh more than Dominic!!! After I buy my books, I headed out to the van to get rid of them so that I didn't have to have my arms full after Nutrition class. WOW!!!!!!!!! I didn't know that there were so many open close parking spots at that time of day, I promptly got into my van which was parked wayyyyyy out there and pulled it up to a spot only 5 cars down, WOO HOO. After getting back into the school and sitting in my classroom waiting for everyone to get there, people start to trickle in, usually the same 4 guys that get there first after me. At about 5:20 some lady comes into our room and tells us that class was cancelled for the night......WHY I ask, WHYYYYYY couldn't this have been posted on the door an hour ago????????????? We still don't quite know why Peggy didn't make it to class but I'm sure we'll find out on Monday, which just happens to be the day of our final exam. Bad thing about all this is...#1- I could have left for home before 4 pm. #2- We didn't go over or talk about the last chapter which is going to be on the final. I guess I'll be doing a lot of extra reading and extra writing of notes to get the info that I think I'll need.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh......I just have to say that Monday I left my math class with a smile on my face that still hasn't quite faded. We got the results back from the test and I was quite worried because I thought that I had not done a very good job because it was all still confusing to me at the time of the test. She handed my paper back and noticing my glazed and worried expression she told me to just look at my paper. Well, on the back page, which was facing up, was the word "PERFECT!" ....a glimmer of hope....I then turned my paper over and seen a big, red 99. WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOO, this was the best grade that I've gotten EVER on a math test. She also wrote a little note to me on the front of the test which in essence said that I wasn't allowed to complain anymore....hehehe, I told her that I couldn't make any promises. Our final in there is on Wednesday. The anxiety is already beginning.

I think that I'm gonna be heading out now to study for my spanish final.

Y'all cuddle up and read a book today,
Love Ya :)
